DECEMBER NEWS

‘Tis the season…..our annual Winter Wonderland will take place on Friday, December 9th, from 5-6pm.  All students are invited.  Class students should sign up at the front desk, $10.  They will perform on 2 events and receive a gift from Santa.  Team levels 3/silver and up, will perform an exhibition and should wear team leotards.  Practice will end at 6pm. Students (6-14 yrs) are invited to stay on for Open Gym, 6-9pm,  at the discounted price of $10.

The team party will be on Saturday, 10th, 5-8pm.  Details to follow.

Make ups for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday class students will take place on Saturday 10th, 9-12pm.  Sign up at the front desk for your specific spot.  We have 5 Thursdays and Fridays this month, so they do not need a holiday make up.

Achievement Week is the 12th-16th.  We hand out ribbons and certificates with improvement notes twice a year.   Make sure to clap at the end of class when we give these out.  If you miss this week, we hope to catch you on the final week, 19th-23rd.

Holiday closing starts December 26 and we reopen on Monday January 2nd.

In fencing news, congratulations to gymnastics/fencing coach, Natasha.  She verbally committed to Wagner College in New York, where she received a fencing scholarship to be part of their NCAA Division 1 team!  She will take a gap year before signing, so we will still have her coaching for a while.

Next year is our 20th year in business, and we look forward to hosting the Alabama State Championships in March, and the USA Region 8 Championships in April, both at the Convention Center, so let us know if you would like to be involved as a volunteer, sponsor or vendor.  Details are on our website

We thank you for your business this year, and hope your children benefited from it.  We wish everyone a peaceful holiday season 🙂
